A Parisian at Heart
Carole’s fascination with art and performance began very early. As a child, she was already drawn to movement, music and the stage — dancing and performing in modern jazz shows while, at the same time, discovering another great passion: horses.
An accomplished rider, Carole developed an almost instinctive connection with them. She spoke to them softly, trusted them completely, and found in their company a freedom and confidence that came very naturally to her.
Dance remained an important part of her journey. Over the years, her curiosity led her from modern jazz to contemporary movement and, later, to Sufi dance, during a period when she became deeply interested in Sufism. For Carole, dance was never simply about technique; it was about expression, presence and discovering new ways of connecting body and spirit.
Her passion for performance naturally extended beyond the dance floor and the riding arena. She competed in dressage, performed, and eventually directed the wonderfully named Les Amazones de Paris — a name that, in retrospect, seems almost suspiciously prophetic.
Theatre and screen followed naturally. Today, Carole is a French actress based in Madrid, working internationally between Spain, France and the UK. A native French speaker and fluent in English and Spanish, with knowledge of Portuguese, she has worked across television and theatre, including internationally recognised productions and stage work in the UK.
She has a particular affinity for sophisticated, aristocratic and high-status characters — women who know exactly where they are going, even when everyone else is still trying to work it out.
Highly athletic and endlessly curious, Carole is as comfortable on horseback or skis as she is in a rehearsal room or on set. Contemporary dance, outdoor pursuits and a taste for adventure keep her firmly connected to the physical side of performance.
She believes acting is about curiosity, transformation and the courage to step into someone else’s world.
And if that world happens to involve a beautiful costume, a horse, a snow-covered mountain or a slightly dangerous adventure…
Even better.
As for the Viking queen?
She is still waiting for the helmet.
